2013 Blue Ridge Folklife Festival

Tickets are sold at the gates.  Advance tickets can be purchased with a credit card by phone (540.365.4412) or with a check by mail (Blue Ridge Folklife Festival, P. O. Box 1000, Ferrum, VA 24088).  Tickets will be mailed to your address.

Special Ferrum College Alumni Packages are also available.

Over 35 years of Jack Tale Players will perform at the 2012 Blue Ridge Folklife Festival as part of the troupe’s first alumni reunion.  Formed in 1975 by Dr. Rex Stephenson, the Jack Tale Players do dramatic renditions of the well-known folktales about the trickster Jack (think “Jack and the Beanstalk”), and they have performed over 3,000 shows in 36 states and overseas.  Troupe alumni include Dean Gates, who won an Emmy Award (“Deep Space 9), and Chris Myers of (“Girl Interrupted”) and other movies.  See the Main Schedule for times and location.
